We’re Teaming Up With Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Healthier Business Group is delighted to announce that this year instead of sending Christmas Cards and Gifts to clients, we will instead be donating £5000.00 to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

Founded in 2001, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity (formerly known as Yorkhill Children’s Charity) was established to support children and their families treated at Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Sick Children – Yorkhill. The work they do is phenomenal, and over the past few weeks, all of our staff have been involved in a range of exercises to learn more about the work they do.

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity aims to be there for every child treated in a hospital in the West of Scotland. Over 500 children arrive at the children’s hospital every day for specialist and lifesaving care.

A few examples of the ways donations can make a difference:

– A £15 donation could help the Play Team make Christmas special by funding arts and crafts, gifts and activities to help children cope with their hospital stay
– A £20 donation could help to fund a support session for a parent or carer in hospital, giving them access to financial and emotional support during difficult days
– A £30 donation could help to fund an emergency support grant for a family struggling with the costs and worries of a hospital visit, allowing them to focus on their wee one
